about us

Basketball Oriented Long-term Training (BOLT) is an Elite Player Development program for highly-motivated athletes. The program is not-for-profit and is run through the Etobicoke Basketball Association (EBA), based in Etobicoke, Toronto, Ontario.

our mission & vision

We aspire to be a unique and inclusive program committed to elite development, with a focus on providing a high-quality and affordable experience for our athletes.

We offer our unique off-season athlete development programs through our Summer programming, which involves 5 different age-specific and targeted training PODs (groups) and a week-long summer day camp. We also offer in-season skill development programs at various points throughout the year, in addition to personal and team training.

All programming is developed in accordance with Canadian Sport for Life (CS4L) and Canada Basketball's Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) Models. The program is divided into two key phases: enhancement of the fitness and conditioning levels of athletes on a basketball-specific scale (with all training being geared toward basketball-specific movements and requirements), and enhancement of specific technical skills required for “average” basketball players to make their skill set “elite”.
